Bucks To Honor Fallen Laredo Soldier

LAREDO, Texas – The Laredo Bucks will be hosting a benefit game in the near future to honor Laredo Marine Juan Rodriquez. Rodriguez was the first Laredo native killed in action while serving in Iraq. The date of the benefit game will be announced at a later date.
The Bucks will sell commemorative red, white, and blue bracelets with all proceeds donated to the family of Juan Rodriguez.
“Juan Rodriguez paid the ultimate price for his country,” said Bucks President John Beckelhymer. “He gave his life protecting our freedoms. We want to support our soldiers and make sure they are remembered properly.”
In addition the Laredo Bucks Booster Club will be setting up an account where people can make donations to assist the family of Juan Rodriguez. All contributions will be tax deductible. For more information please contact Bucks President John Beckelmymer at (956) 718-(BUCKS) 2825.
