Medley Back In Line-Up For Saints

January 14, 2005 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
San Angelo Saints News Release

San Angelo, TX – The San Angelo Saints of the Central Hockey League announced that defenseman Matthew Medley will be back in the line-up this weekend. Medley, who received a groan injury during the Saints November 20th game versus the Austin Ice Bats, will play during the three Saints games this weekend. “We have missed Matt’s presence out there on the ice,” stated Saints Head Coach Ray Edwards. “Hopefully he will be a boost the team needs not only defensively but overall.”

The Saints head to Austin tonight to face off against the Ice Bats before coming home to play back to back games in the Sanctuary. Saturday night they will host the Corpus Christi Rayz at 7 PM and Sunday they will play against the Odessa Jackalopes at 5 PM. All three games will be important towards the standings as the Saints battle to regain top seed in the southern conference. Currently San Angelo is sitting third in the Southwest Division with 34 points and a winning percentage of .548. For tickets to this weekends games or for more information please call the Saints office at 325-653-9577 today.
