Providence Bruins News Release
Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins, in their 20th season in the American Hockey League, today announced that the Boston Bruins have assigned defenseman Ryan Button to the Reading Royals of the ECHL.

Last season, the Royals clinched first place in the Atlantic Division with a 44-23-2-3 record. The club advanced to the second round of the playoffs, before falling to the Kalamazoo Wings in four games. Button joins former P-Bruins Yannick Riendeau, Rob Kwiet, Olivier Labelle, Marvin Degonand Karel St. Laurent.
